President Trump joined Fox News Lou Dobbs on Tuesday night, and during their conversation, the subject turned to the Obamagate investigation.

In May 2019, Attorney General William Barr tapped Connecticut’s U.S. Attorney John Durham to look into issues related to the origins of the FBI’s Trump-Russia investigation, better-known as Obamagate.

Attorney General Barr has already publicly commented that some of the people under investigation by John Durham engaged in serious wrongdoing.

Trump Talks About Obamagate Investigation

Interestingly, President Trump’s use of past tense, makes it seem as if John Durham’s investigation has either wrapped up or is nearly about to.

President Trump telling Dobbs:

We caught them spying. Now it’s up to our Attorney General. As you know I wanted them to do it. I didn’t want to get overly involved… I do hear it’s breathtaking what they found that’s all I can say.
